A French Baguette

Hello!
I was hoping to have a giveaway ready for you this morning,  however I haven't had a chance to finish writing the post yet....
So I hope you will come back tomorrow for a fun giveaway...
On another note...
I wanted to share a fun sandwich with you that I shared on facebook last week...
(I love Kayce's blog, she is a mother of seven children and designs her own line of clothing for women and children. )

I bought some french baguettes from my favorite bakery....

All you need is....
french baguette
Pepper Jelly (or your favorite fruit spread)
Strawberries
Spinach
Avocado
Goat Cheese

You can grill the bread prior to making the sandwich, I happen to like it both ways...
My sister likes hers grilled.

Spread the goat cheese and pepper jelly on your baguette....
Layer a generous amount of strawberries, avocado, and spinach on your sandwich,
and you have a healthy sandwich : )

Enjoy the rest of your day!
Take Care,
Maria

OH this sounds lovely! It has all the ingredients of my favorite salad but eaten on the french bread instead of with the french bread. Just love it! now if only we had good avocados in our area... :)

This makes my mouth water. I have similar encounter with baguettes where rocket lettuce, tomatoes and mustard spread was used as filling.
